Mt. Carmel posted their closest win since April 4th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pacific Ridge Firebirds, sneaking past 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in February.

Mt. Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 13-19. As for Pacific Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-16.

Coming up, Mt. Carmel will venture away from home to take on Rancho Bernardo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will welcome Bishop's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Firebirds surely won't give up without a fight.
