Football Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside lost against Northridge back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates lost to the Polar Bears at home by a 26-9 margin.

Riverside now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Northridge, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will face off against Troy Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Northridge, they will take on Covington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Polar Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
