Lyndell Wilson, a 5-star linebacker from Carver (Montgomery, Ala.), picked Alabama as his college choice a short time ago.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound standout is the No. 2 outside linebacker in the country and No. 15 recruit overall, according to 247Sports.

Alabama had been Wilson's favorite from the start but he made an official visit on Jan. 22, a week after visiting Georgia. He had 19 offers and 10 college coaches came to visit him.

Though his legal first name is Lyndell, everyone calls him "Mack." He sure hits like one.

Wilson had 115 tackles in 10 games his senior year, and 18 were for losses. He also caused four fumbles.
