 Del Mar put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Evergreen Valley Cougars as the Del Mar Dons made off with  a  28-4 win. Fans of Del Mar have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout.
  Sienna Denson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned run or hits while striking out 13 over 4.2 innings pitched. Denson was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Niarah Aimonetti, who  went 4-for-5 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and five  RBI.  Meher Singh was another key contributor,  scoring four  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in five of her four plate appearances.
 Del Mar's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 22.5 runs per game. As for Evergreen Valley, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
 Del Mar will head out on the road to  take on  James Lick at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Del Mar knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully James Lick likes a good challenge. As for Evergreen Valley, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Yerba Buena at 4:00  p.m. Evergreen Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game this season.
