Basketball Recap: Idaho City Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garden Valley, Idaho City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Riverstone International Otters by a score of 28-21. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Riverstone International saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Vera Brooks posted 13 points.

Idaho City's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Riverstone International, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Idaho City will take on Vision at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverstone International, they will challenge Rimrock at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
