Basketball Recap: North Canyon Gets the Win

North Canyon's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 73-60 win over the Buckeye Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Rattlers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Canyon has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Buckeye, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

North Canyon has already played their next match (against Desert Edge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Buckeye is taking a road trip to challenge Verrado at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Verrado knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Buckeye likes a good challenge.
