St. Francis barely beat Marquette the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gladiators' defense stepped up to hand the Redmen a 3-0 shutout on Friday. Considering St. Francis have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 10-1-1. As for Marquette, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-1.

Coming up, St. Francis will challenge Northville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northville will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something St. Francis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marquette, they are taking a road trip to take on Lake Orion at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Marquette are facing Lake Orion at the right time seeing as Lake Orion are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
