Basketball Game Preview: TPLS Christian Academy Lions vs. Central Pointe Christian Academy CPCA

TPLS Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Central Pointe Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Lions will venture away from home to challenge the CPCA at 10:00 a.m.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Monday. TPLS Christian Academy took a hard 54-36 fall against Potter's House Christian. The contest was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but TPLS Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Central Pointe Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They strolled past Zephyrhills Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 65-50.

TPLS Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

TPLS Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Central Pointe Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, losing 59-41. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
