Sadly, Tagg Silvas posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Woodsboro over Three Rivers on Friday. Three Rivers had no answer to Silvas as he struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.
Silvas and Woodsboro will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Skidmore-Tynan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
