Baseball Game Preview: St. Michael Warriors vs. Episcopal Knights

The St. Michael Warriors will face off against the Episcopal Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Michael is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when St. Michael and Parkview Baptist meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Warriors fell 7-3 to the Eagles. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Episcopal, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Catholic of Pointe Coupee on Friday by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Episcopal moved to 3-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for St. Michael, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
