Softball Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hillsboro's offense. They came up short against the Wilsonville Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Wilsonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Hillsboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-0 win against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts on the 23rd. As for Wilsonville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
