McDonough had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Bard Falcons 71-44. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 119th in Maryland, while the Falcons are ranked 25th in District of Columbia).

McDonough's record is now 11-6. As for Bard, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
