Basketball Recap: Lyndhurst Comes Up Short

Lyndhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 61-50 to the Tenafly Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Bears of the 79-76 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Lyndhurst's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tenafly, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyndhurst will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Clifton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tenafly, they will head out to square off against Lodi at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Tenafly has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three matches.
