Baseball Recap: Northeast Jones Takes a Loss

Northeast Jones fell victim to Seminary and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this game were averaging 3.12 runs allowed.

Northeast Jones' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7-1. As for Seminary, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Northeast Jones will face off against Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (54 vs. 211). Meanwhile, Seminary (ranked 46th) will meet South Pike (ranked 260th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
