Football Recap: Santiam Christian Piles Up the Points Against Salem Academy + How To Watch

After only 13 points in their last contest, Santiam Christian made sure to put some points up on the board against Salem Academy on Friday. The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Crusaders 47-14. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

A big part of Santiam Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Mason Ball and his top target Isaac Johnson. Ball picked up 28 receiving yards and one touchdown while Johnson rushed for 46 yards and one score. What's more, Johnson racked up 23 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Santiam Christian didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Salem Academy to a completion percentage of just 35%. The Eagles weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 73.3%.

Santiam Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Salem Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
