Jersey Shore and Central Mountain are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will square off against the Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Jersey Shore is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since May 13, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against South Williamsport, falling 11-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Central Mountain waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 12-1 win. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 11 runs.

Central Mountain's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Jersey Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything went Jersey Shore's way against Central Mountain in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Jersey Shore made off with an 11-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
