Volleyball Recap: West Caldwell Comes Up Short

West Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Avery County Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-22, 25-19.

West Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, West Caldwell will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Wilkes Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Avery County, they will face off against West Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
