Basketball Game Preview: Gainesville Bulldogs vs. Willow Springs Bears

The Gainesville Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Willow Springs Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Gainesville was able to grind out a solid win over Conway, taking the game 76-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Willow Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past Houston 80-44 on Friday. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season.

Gainesville's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Willow Springs, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Gainesville came up short against Willow Springs in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 58-50. Can Gainesville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
