Basketball Recap: Loretto Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Loretto Mustangs were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 55-51 to the Springfield Yellow Jackets. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loretto now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Springfield, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Loretto and Munford will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Springfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-51 victory against Lebanon on the 24th.
