Meanwhile, Shelby suffered their biggest defeat since December 16, 2023 last Saturday. They came up short against Chinook, falling 68-43. The Coyotes have struggled against the Beeters recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Shelby's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Chester-Joplin-Inverness, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
