Softball Recap: Hampshire Takes a Loss

Hampshire fell victim to Barrington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fillies/Broncos. The loss continues a trend for the Whip-Purs in their meetings with the Fillies/Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.

Hampshire's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Barrington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-3-1 record this season.

Hampshire does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barrington, they will square off against Huntley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Raiders will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Fillies/Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
