Baseball Recap: Keys Comes Up Short

Keys was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Tigers. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

Keys' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Central, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keys will face off against Dewey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Dewey has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Central, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Panama at 4:00 p.m.
