Tinora extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 5-11. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edgerton Bulldogs. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
Zoe Billings was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off eight hits. Billings was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Madison Spangler made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Savannah Schroeder, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
As for Edgerton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games.
Like Tinora, Edgerton also got a great game from a two-way player: Olivia Wallace. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits. Wallace has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Alivia Farnham was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Ava Swank was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Tinora has already played their next matchup (against Lincolnview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Edgerton, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-9 win against Paulding on the 28th.
