Volleyball Recap: Manzanola Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Manzanola took on Holly on Tuesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Bobcats have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Manzanola ultimately came up short, they really made Holly work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11, 25-11.

Manzanola's offense was headlined by Noli Gallegos and Jada Garcia, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Kendahl Lange and her three assists. Garcia also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mali Feltner, racking up two apiece.

Manzanola's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Holly, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Manzanola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against La Veta on the 29th. As for Holly, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Walsh on the 28th.
