Here's our latest look at the top prep football teams in a landscape that houses the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Lambeau Field, the Big Ten Conference, Notre Dame and several of the top high school programs in the history of the sport.
State champs, national acclaim, big-time talent. North Coast football is a force. So are the following teams from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Muskegon (Mich.) moves up to No. 3 in this week's rankings following a 58-0 win over Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, Mich.).

Elyria (Ohio) 73-0, handing head coach
Steve Trivisonno his 200th career victory and Elyria its largest shutout loss since a 1905 - a 76-0 loss to
Shaw (East Cleveland, Ohio). The Cardinals scored 42 first quarter-points. Junior QB
Ian Kipp threw four touchdowns. Ranked No. 17 in the

5. East St. Louis (Ill.) – 4-0 Last Week (7): Junior quarterback
Tyler Macon threw three touchdown passes and ran for three more as the Flyers beat
Belleville West (Ill.) 53-0 win. It was
East St. Louis’ 21st straight Southwestern Conference win and Belleville West’s first shutout loss since 2016 (also to East St. Louis). The Flyers produced 503 yards of offense.
