Riverside and Chardon are an even 3-3-1 against one another since October of 2016, but likely not for long. The Beavers will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against the Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. Riverside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Riverside had taken South down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Beavers came up short against the Rebels, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Chardon can bid farewell to their six-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out North 2-1. Chardon's winning goal came courtesy of Lydia Yeary.

Chardon's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-8. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Riverside might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Chardon in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Beavers were down 4-0.
