Pendleton County turns things around after tough road loss

There's no place like home for the Pendleton County Wildcat, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against Pocahontas County by a score of 43-34 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pendleton County also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Despite the defeat, Pocahontas County saw an underclassman step up: Allyson Taylor scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Pendleton County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Pocahontas County, they bumped their record down to 3-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
