Softball Game Preview: Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors vs. Greater Cabarrus S Stallions

The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors will challenge the Greater Cabarrus S Stallions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Metrolina Christian Academy has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Metrolina Christian Academy's offense. They lost 11-0 to Concord Academy on Tuesday. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Greater Cabarrus S sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over Union Preparatory on Tuesday.

Jesse Hammil was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Molly Moon was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Greater Cabarrus S' victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
