Softball Game Preview: SA Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Brandeis Broncos

SA Roosevelt is 0-8 against Brandeis since March of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The SA Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out on the road to face off against the Brandeis Broncos at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

SA Roosevelt is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 23rd straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 21-2 to Clark.

Meanwhile, Brandeis came up short against Madison on Wednesday, falling 17-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Broncos in their meetings with the Mavericks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Tegan Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

SA Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Brandeis, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
