Soccer Recap: Kemper County Takes a Loss

Kemper County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers an easy 16-0 win. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 two weeks ago.

Kemper County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Southeast Lauderdale, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Kemper County has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Louisville on the 19th. As for Southeast Lauderdale, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clarkdale at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Southeast Lauderdale is on a three-game streak of home wins, Clarkdale a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
