Baseball Recap: Highland Park Scots vs. Wyandotte Bulldogs
Highland Park never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Wyandotte on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Scots' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Mason Foxford made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Foxford was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.
