Soccer Recap: North Iredell Takes a Loss

North Iredell lost against East Lincoln back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, North Iredell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while East Lincoln are ranked 33rd).

North Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-3. As for East Lincoln, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1-1.

While North Iredell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
