DeSoto gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 70-0 victory over the Creekside Seminoles at home. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won 16 matchups in a row dating back to last season.

Kelden Ryan went supernova for DeSoto, rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Daylon Singleton, who picked up 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, DeSoto was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 248 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 181 rushing yards in 16 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
