Denby waltzed into their game on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the University Prep Art & Design Mustangs 21-3. Considering the Tars have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Denby pushed their record up to 10-4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for University Prep Art & Design, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denby will host Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for University Prep Art & Design, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Henry Ford Academy at 4:30 p.m. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Navigators have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matches.
