Baseball Recap: Carlmont Comes Up Short

Carlmont suffered their biggest loss since March 4th on Thursday. They came up short against the Capuchino Mustangs, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Wednesday.

Carlmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Luzzo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Carlmont and nudges their season record down to 9-11. As for Capuchino, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Carlmont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-3 defeat against Burlingame on the 30th. As for Capuchino, they have also already played their next game, an 11-2 win against Hillsdale on the 30th.
