Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jayden Harmon and Alikai Creque Lead Cypress Creek to Victory

After losing to Jones the last time they met, Cypress Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cypress Creek Bears came out on top against the Jones Fightin' Tigers by a score of 48-40 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leading Cypress Creek to victory were Alikai Creque and Jayden Harmon. Creque dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds, while Harmon posted ten points in addition to five boards and three steals. Those 16 rebounds gave Creque a new career-high.

Cypress Creek's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11. As for Jones, they moved to 6-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Cypress Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-37 loss against Winter Park on the 13th. Jones has also already played their next game, an 84-43 win against Lake Buena Vista on the 13th.
