Football Game Preview: Oneida Express vs. Holland Patent Golden Knights

The Oneida Express will take on the Holland Patent Golden Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oneida comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Oneida took a blow against Canastota, falling 48-8. While losing is never fun, the Express can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 435th, while Canastota are ranked 207th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Holland Patent, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Adirondack with a sharp 27-7 win on Friday. With the Golden Knights ahead 21-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

The victory snapped Holland Patent's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Oneida, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
