After a string of seven wins, Flat Rock's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 42-25 to the Bedford Kicking Mules. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Kicking Mules are ranked 22nd).

Madleen Hussein was Flat Rock's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Layla Holbrook took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Flat Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Bedford, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, Flat Rock will face off against Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Huron will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Flat Rock surely won't give up without a fight. Bedford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
