Baseball Recap: East Jordan Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

East Jordan managed to slip by Sacred Heart Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils lost 14-1 to the Irish on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Jordan's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for Sacred Heart Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Jordan will challenge Mancelona at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ironmen have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they will square off against Vestaburg at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.83 runs per game on average), something the Irish will no doubt try to take advantage of.
