Football Recap: Churchill Chargers vs. Johnson Jaguars
Friday just wasn't the day for Churchill's offense. They were beaten by the Johnson Jaguars 35-0 on Friday. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Churchill's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for Johnson, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Churchill is taking a road trip to square off against LEE at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Churchill is facing LEE at the right time seeing as LEE is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Johnson, a feisty cat fight will be fought when Jaguars takes on Clark at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
