Auburn Mountainview won the last time they faced White River and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Mia Heigh, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Melanie Duran was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
