Soccer Recap: Palmyra-Macedon Comes Up Short

Palmyra-Macedon came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-0 to the East Rochester Bombers. While losing is never fun, Palmyra-Macedon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while East Rochester are ranked 27th).

Palmyra-Macedon's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for East Rochester, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmyra-Macedon will face off against Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Rochester, they will host Williamson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
