The home team had won the previous six meetings between Seekonk and Fairhaven, and Seekonk kept the tradition alive. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 3-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since June 11, 2024.

Seekonk got a great performance from Cole Arruda as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Arruda has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Seekonk's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Kropis, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Kropis' first of the season.

The victory got Seekonk back to even at 3-3. As for Fairhaven, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seekonk will venture away from home to face off against Bourne at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Canalmen at the right time seeing as the Canalmen are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Fairhaven, they will face off against Greater New Bedford RVT at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
