Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Gets the Win

After losing to Scotus the last time they met, Syracuse decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rockets came out on top against the Shamrocks by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

While Syracuse might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Scotus scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-21, 25-19.

Syracuse has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Scotus, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Syracuse will square off against Freeman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scotus, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Shenandoah on the 6th.
