There's no place like home for Dove Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Ridgway Demons on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won eight in a row.

Dove Creek was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 18-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Hadley Hatfield paced Dove Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hatfield got some help from Kaybree Smith and her 33 assists. Finally, Audrey Jennings kept Dove Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Dove Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Ridgway, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
