Basketball Recap: Yuma Catholic Shamrocks vs. River Valley Dust Devils        
        
		
            
 The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Saturday. They blew past River Valley 54-5 at home. The team accrued 42  points in the first half and coasted on those for the  victory.
  Amanda Wiley was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 24 points along with eight  rebounds and four  steals. Wiley is crushing the  rebound category: she's  posted at least eight every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Clarissa Meza, who  scored three points along with six  assists and three  steals.
 Yuma Catholic has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for River Valley, they are  on a seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-21.
 Yuma Catholic will look to defend their home court  on Wednesday against the Guardians at 5:30  p.m. As for River Valley, they and the Patriots will face off  at 2:30  p.m.  on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mohave Accelerated presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Dust Devils in Arizona (the Patriots are ranked 90th, while the Dust Devils are ranked 285th).
