The Northwestern Area Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Britton-Hecla Braves at 8:00 p.m. Britton-Hecla took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Northwestern Area, who comes in off a win.

Northwestern Area took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 69-67 victory over Langford. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Britton-Hecla suffered their biggest loss since February 16, 2024 on Thursday. They were dealt a 76-35 defeat at the hands of Roncalli. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Britton-Hecla has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Northwestern Area, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Northwestern Area came out on top in a nail-biter against Britton-Hecla in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 62-59. Does Northwestern Area have another victory up their sleeve, or will Britton-Hecla turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
