Softball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to the Valley Lutheran Chargers. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Valley Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Carrollton will be playing in front of their home fans against Bridgeport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Lutheran, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-4 loss against Chesaning on the 16th.
