Baseball Recap: Hallsville Takes a Loss

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harrisburg Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Saturday.

Hallsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Harrisburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Hallsville will head out on the road to face off against Centralia at 5:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Harrisburg, they will face off against Pilot Grove at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
