Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Southeast Knights vs. Norris Titans
Lincoln Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Norris Titans. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2019.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norris to victory, but perhaps none more so than Harper Gable, who had six digs and 12 assists. Gable is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 11 or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rya Borer, who had 11 digs.
Lincoln Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Norris, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Marian the next time they take the court. Norris will head out to face Marian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lincoln Southeast will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
